Frequently, in Virginia seasons collide. However, I have never had a commission for a painting that represents all 4 seasons. This was a bit of a challenge but starting at bottom right... summer is represented by the flat bottom boat turned upside down in the green weeds. Fall continues up the painting in the orange trees; winter is at the top of the hill in the snow around the house and spring is blooming at the bottom right in the butterfly bush.
