Now that winter is gone and I have the option of more color, I find that I am still lingering in the "blue realm". There was just something about the ethereal blues of this scene that intrigued me enough to paint it. I guess there's no getting around the fact that our "Blue" Ridge is filled with blue! The interesting part is that after forcing myself to paint with cool colors most of the winter, I am now much more comfortable with them.
