Parkway Series #4 12 x 16 oil SoldWhile working on this series of paintings, I am listening to my heart. My response to the visual field of which I am a part lets me know what image to photograph. The sensory smorgasbord sometimes seems overwhelming but more and more frequently, I am finding my heart strings being pulled by color contrasts, value patterns and the abstract shape of shadows. My search continues for a personal style. I believe after a year of daily painting, I will find my personal style by listening to the Voice within.
