Right after the rain, I captured the rain cloud and bright sun on this wet Spring morning. I am looking forward to painting "plein air" instead of in-the-studio painting and being in the landscape to absorb more of the feel of open space. I anticipate a better use of color and value as I paint on location, now that the weather is improving.
