Out for a Walk

Blue Ridge Parkway Series #474  12 x 16  oil   SOLD

"I only went for a walk, and finally concluded to stay out till sundown, for going out, I found, was really going in."  John Muir  was a 19th c. advocate for preservation of the wilderness in the U.S.  He was also a Christian who really understood the spiritual nature of Creation and how it relates to the character of God.  As I walk the trails of the Parkway, I also, observe the God of all Creation illuminating my path with Truth, Goodness and Beauty.
