This is the creek that runs into the Roanoke River, just north of the Roanoke River overlook. The diagonal composition and complementary colors (blue and orange) caught my eye as we were stopped on the Parkway for construction work on the bridge. My husband is very patient when I jump out of the car and snap pictures of random things. He can never figure out what I am looking for in a photograph. I just know it when I see it!!!
